Financial Mail awards

Financial Mail featured prominently in the 2008 Headlinemoney.co.uk awards:  Stephen Womack was named General Insurance Writer of the Year for his authoritative work on flooding, home risk management and uninsured driving.  It is the third time Stephen has won the award in the last five years, the criteria being expertise, dogged determination to explore all angles and to be able to write in a succinct and entertaining way. The judges were full of praise: “He makes insurance stories real, providing true-life examples” and concluded, after a rigorous judging process: “It couldn’t really go to anyone else.”
